Tl-the contact owns a 2000 Mercury Mountaineer. The contact stated that while driving the lights just shut off after steadily dimming. After several attempts the lights came back on and stayed on. The manufacturer was contacted and they stated that there was no recalls and referred the contact to call NHTSA. The dealer was not contacted. The failure mileage was 82,000. Tf.
