One problem related to warning light on has been reported for the 1996 Mercury Mystique. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
Air bag warning light was flashing on and off. The air bag on the driver's side was beginning to protrude out of the steering wheeel hub. To the dealer ,charged consumer $65. 00 to tighten up a screw in the steering wheel. Please provide any further details. Report given by owner's son bill campbell.
