One problem related to front air bag has been reported for the 1997 Mercury Mystique. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
Airbags deployed upon minor collision with vehicle in front. Damage to bumper not significant. Body shop and insurance adjuster feel damage not consistent with 4g force required to deploy airbags.
