Two problems related to ignition module have been reported for the 1996 Mercury Sable. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
Vehicle stalled repeatedly. The ignition module was replaced, however the problem recurred.
Dealer replaced transmission. , then changed computer settings, fuel mileage cut by 1/3.
