Two problems related to rear seat belt have been reported for the 1996 Mercury Sable. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
When vehicle came to rest in a ditch driver noticed that rear center seat belt did not restrain css properly, it slid down between front and rear seats.
Rear center seat belt will not return/retract.
