Three problems related to tire tread/belt have been reported for the 1996 Mercury Sable. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
Tire tread on general ameri tech tires separated.
Tire/tread separation.
Pe00 048; consumer was traveling 45mph on highway and was able to pull over to shoulder. Left front tire tread separated. Cientera medalisc/bf goodrich,and goodyear p20565r15. There were no injuries reported.
