Three problems related to door have been reported for the 1997 Mercury Sable. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
Automatic power locks would intermittently unlock while driving. Appointment being made at the dealer.
Automatic lock on driver's side door does not stay locked. Consumer enters the automobile and locks all four doors. Once the engine starts, driver's side lock pops open. This occurs about 70% of the time when consumer starts the automobile. Also, area dealer have been receiving numerous complaints of the same problem with the same automobile.
Door malfunctioned.
