One problem related to other fuel system tank filling/charging has been reported for the 1998 Mercury Sable. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
Turned vehicle off to fill it with fuel. Turned it off & then on without starting. Was unable to shift vehicle into neutral to be moved. Contacted dealer & was informed how to shift when on but not running.
