The contact owns a 2008 Mercury Sable. The vehicle was taken to the dealer for routine maintenance when the technician advised that the rear brakes needed to be replaced. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic for a second opinion where the failure was confirmed. In addition, the contact was advised to replace the rotors.
