One problem related to brake light has been reported for the 1997 Mercury Tracer. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
Left turn signal would blink at 3-4 times the normal and right turn signal caused the cruise control to malfunction due to left rear brake light being out, once bulb was replaced all turn signal functioning was normal.
