Two problems related to air bag not deploy have been reported for the 1998 Mercury Tracer. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
Vehicle was involved in a 20-25 mph frontal collision in which the driver and passenger air bags did not deploy, cause unknown.
Vehicle was involved in a frontal collision. Upon impact, airbags did not deploy, resulting in minor injuries.
