One problem related to hatchback/liftgate lock has been reported for the 1996 Mercury Villager. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
I purchased a used van, there seem to be several recalls either not idenitfied or not know about, either way they were not fixed. I have been unable to fine a dealer whom will acknowledge the recalls and repair them.
