Two problems related to headlights have been reported for the 1996 Mercury Villager. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
The auto headlamp system has failed, on two occasions the lights just suddenly and without warning shut off while driving at night in snowy condtions causing poor visibility. Nlm.
Noticed similar Villagers in dealer lot with same failure of headlight reflector material. Result was failed state safety inspection, parts replaced under warranty.
