One problem related to hatchback/liftgate has been reported for the 1997 Mercury Villager. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
Consumer complained about automatic door lock problem. The doors locked without notice. Currently, hatchback will not open. Also, driver's side seat belt did not retract.
