Three problems related to air bag not deploy have been reported for the 1999 Mercury Villager. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
Without warning accelerator pedal stuck to the floor while driving 45 mph, causing the consumer to lose control of the vehicle and hit an embankment. Upon impact, both frontal airbag did not deploy. Driver sustained injuries and was taken to the hospital.

Vehicle was involved in a 3-car accident where owner rearended another vehicle at 10 to 15mph, and the bench seat seatbelts did not properly restrain occupant. Occupant was thrown into the seats in front of them. Also airbags did not deploy. Dealer has not seen vehicle.
