One problem related to tank filler pipe and cap has been reported for the 1999 Mercury Villager. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
When pumping gasoline it leaked from underneath the fuel filler neck. This caused a gasoline odor. Driver took vehicle to the dealer for analysis, and mechanic has not resolved the problem.
