Contact put the vehicle in park and exited the vehicle and it rolled backwards. The door pulled the contact under the vehicle, and both sets of tires ran her over. She sustained a broken pelvic bone, a broken hip, a broken femur, a broken knee, a broken ankle, and a broken back from l1-5. As a result, she spent the summer in a nursing home. The vehicle has not been to a mechanic for this problem.

The consumer states that approximately a year ago the accelerator pedal began to stick in the up position. When he tried to go slow from the stop position it would not work, causing him to place more pressure on the pedal causing the vehicle to lurch. The consumer took the vehicle to the service dealer, and they suggested that he place a fuel injection cleaner in the air filter, which helped, but the problem recurred.

Sometimes when I go from a stop position or slow down and you want to accelerate, you put your foot down and get nothing, when tap harder on it, it will lurch forward, and whip back your passengers (children). It seems to occur when humidity is higher, regardless of season.
While slowly pulling out my transmission's main shaft snapped. Luckily I was not pulling out in to traffic, since there would have been an accident.

Are Mercury Villager transmission went. We brought it new in 1997 only 53,000 miles we are upset with it.
Transmission operated erratically. Had to try three or four times to put it into gear, but it did not work.
I reported to the dealer that the auto trans makes a "chirp" noise betwteen 2nd & 3rd gear. They initially denied a problem. I recently confronted the dealer with sb613610 and they claim that operation and durability are unaffected by this noise. Yet their own internal documents reveal that vehicles made after 5/19/00 will not have this problem. What did they do to correct the problem in newer vehicles? why are they unwilling to correct the problem in existing vehicles? your assistance in investigating this problem is greatly appreciated.
Ford would not cover because the vehicle went out of warranty 1,200 prior.
When radi/ heater or turn signal was in use windshield washer would squirt fluid on windshield. Also, overdrive would kick out, and brake lights on left would go out if lights were used.
The vehicle was in park when a small child mistakenly knocked gear shifter to reverse. The vehicle rolled backwards onto the grass which helped it come to a stop.
