Mercury Villager owners have reported 1 problem related to front seat head restraint (under the seats category). The most recently reported issues are listed below. Also please check out the statistics and reliability analysis of Mercury Villager based on all problems reported for the Villager.
Headrest guides are no longer available from manufacturer (Ford or Nissan). The guide itself is a cheaply built plastic sleeve which breaks easily (I've been through several in my nine years of ownership). Unfortunately, the headrest cannot be secured to the seat without them!!.
