The contact was experiencing the air bag warning light illuminating and then staying lit for months as the failure progressed while waiting for the parts to receive the recall repair. The vehicle was taken to the dealer where it was diagnosed that the air bag sensor needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure.
