Tl-the contact owns a 2015 Mini cooper. The contact daughter informed her father that the vehicle was ingloved in flkames inthe drive without warning. The contact ran grabbed a water hose and try to extenguisghed the flames but was unsacifall. A bystander contacted the police who informed the fire department about the issues. The fire department arrived at the scene and extinguished the flames. No injuries was sustained. No medical attention contacted. No police report was made but informed the contact that a fire department report was made and provided the report number#1900355515. Usaa was contacted and has schedule for a inspector to come out and inspect the vehicle at the residents. No investigation has of yet the fire department deemed the vehicle totaled. No dealer was contacted. No manufacturer was made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was approimenlty 53,000. Ck.
When I took my car in for its first service I was told that the entire engine needed to be replaced due to a recall. I have not been able to locate any such recall. I have found this entire experience to be very unusual.
