Wheel Problems of Mini Cooper S

The tires on this vehicle have blown out 3 times in the 9 months we have owned this car. Another tire (a fourth incident) had a bubble that was replaced before it blew out. All incidents were separate times. The dealer and BMW will do nothing. All blow outs were on the highway traveling about 60 mph.

Driving at 40mph and suddenly a noise/slight vibration in the front started. Stopped at mechanics and was advised and shown that the front wheel bearing was bad. Contacted dealership and was told that I must have hit something to cause it. Though no other front end components show any damage.

Executing a left turn and all of a sudden the power steering went out. Was unable to control the car due to the fact that I was not expecting this issue. Damage front right side of car against curb. I have learned that this is a serious problem. This issue needs to be addressed on a recall!.

I have owned this vehicle for 1 year and three months. I did not have the choice of selecting any other tire. Mini cooper( BMW) put run flats on vehicle because there is no where for a spare tire. I keep the vehicle in the garage at a condo in florida with no access to anyone. I have 4250 miles on the vehicle. I have had three flats. Mini related that I had the oppurtunity to buy a tire and suspension warranty when new for 800. 00 plus dollars. I can't remember the last time I had one flat on any other vehicle. My wife or I have used this vehicle for less than 5 months and this is the third flat. Mini denies any deficiencies with the tires but I don't believe them. This avages out to a flat about every 1400 miles. My father got better milage out of retreads. Statistically it seems significant and there is a defect. Please investigate and respond.

The affected components were the steering, brakes, suspension, and shocks. A police report was filed and the contact has pictures available. The VIN was unknown. The current and failure mileages were 30,000.
