Seat Belt problem #1

After the car went for an oil change, the seat belt sensor (beeper) stopped working. Mini would not pay for this to be replaced. Said if the seat belt sensor was not working, the airbags might not deploy. Very costly repair (computer system replacement). Shouldn't safety features (required by the government) be fixed, without charge, for the life of the vehicle?.

Seat Belt problem #2

The passenger airbag off light came on with no one in the seat, when adult sat down the light did not go off. Also the airbag fault light came on. The seat belt warning light does not come on when passenger does not buckle seat belt.
