One problem related to fuel delivery has been reported for the 1997 Mitsubishi Diamante. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
There is a very distinct gas smell in and around the car. It also leaks gas from the gas tank when full. I have notified misubishi several times and I have been told that my car is fine.
