One problem related to windshield wiper/washer has been reported for the 1998 Mitsubishi Diamante. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
Windshield wiper blades don't contact the windshield in cold weather due to a stiff hinge near the base of the wiper arm. Can be temporarily corrected by using a light, penetrating lubricant, but problem returns after car wash.
