One problem related to hood latch has been reported for the 1996 Mitsubishi Eclipse. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
For no apparent reason, while driving 60 mph, hood flew open. Driver was able to pull off the road safely. Safety latch did not hold the hood. Vehicle was taken to a body shop for repairs. Please provide any further information.
