Three problems related to wheel have been reported for the 1996 Mitsubishi Eclipse. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
Vehicle vibrates excessively at 65mph, cause radial pull, wheel assy rotation (one side).
Consumer states that the front wheel rim had a dent caused by a hitting a small pothole. Further examination confirmed that three of the four wheels were cracked and unsafe. Dealership refused to cover cost of replacing wheels alleging that consumer hit a pothole. Original wheels were replaced with generic wheels.
After repair of right front axle seal the right front wheel fell off the vehicle.
