One problem related to air conditioner has been reported for the 1998 Mitsubishi Eclipse. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
Air conditioner froze up, snapping the belt, part of the belt went up into inside of timing cover and valve train and locked up other parts. Consumer feels this was very dangerous, could have had an accident. Please provide any further information.
