The contact owns a 2005 Mitsubishi Endeavor. The contact shifted into park, turned off the vehicle, and removed the keys from the ignition, but the vehicle began to roll backwards. He had to start the ignition while it was rolling and apply the brakes in order to stop the vehicle. The vehicle crashed into another vehicle during the failure. Afterwards, he attempted to place the vehicle into drive, but the vehicle would not move. The vehicle was finally able to move thirty minutes later. The contact took the vehicle to the dealer, but they could not remedy the issue. A police report was filed and there were no injuries. The current mileage was 49,685 and failure mileage was 49,616.
The contact owns a 2005 Mitsubishi Endeavor. While driving 40 mph, the transmission suddenly locked. Prior to the failure, the contact noticed that the dashboard shift indicator light would flash whenever the vehicle was placed into drive.
