Transmission -- a high pitch whining noise verified by dealer as coming from the transmission. Mitsubishi customer relations adjudication, direct from management, is that the "noise is normal". This is a blatant insult to my intelligence.

The consumer had to take the vehicle into the dealer because none of the windows would roll down, and the doors would not lock or unlock from the driver side remote button. A whining noise was heard in the transmission. Windshield wiper blades would not turn off. Warning light in the dash continues to come on.
