Two problems related to electrical system have been reported for the 1996 Mitsubishi Galant. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
Dealer informed consumer that the mileage on vehicle which read 053086 was not the original mileage and that the previous owner had replaced the speedometer at 35992 miles because the vehicle had experienced electrical problems and the odometer was inoperative, dealer could not repair vehicle under warranty due to mileage.
