One problem related to rear seat belt has been reported for the 1996 Mitsubishi Galant. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
The receiving end of the rear seat belts are too long to secure a child restraining seat properly/it is too long to allow long seat belt to go all the way trhough back of child restraining seat and be tightened.
