One problem related to front seat belt retractor has been reported for the 1999 Mitsubishi Galant. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
Vehicle wanders off into another lane. Also, driver's side seatbelt retractors are in backwards/there is a gasoline leak from underneath vehicle, and vehicle shakes and vibrates when traveling on the highway.
