The contact owns a 2000 Mitsubishi Galant. Whenever the vehicle begins to get hot, the air conditioner begins to blow hot air. The contact also noticed that the low oil light would occasionally illuminate on the instrument panel. The vehicle has not been diagnosed by the dealer. The current mileage was 233,000 and failure mileage was 226,000.
A/c not working properly not any where near as cold as it should be. Brought back to Mitsubishi in serramonte around 4 time. They completely took apart dashboard and the a/c in 2003 and said they found metal shavings in some part of the a/c unit and fixed it. Well now it's 4 years later and it never really worked right. This is a problem since the car was bought new in 2000. I just gave up trying to get this a/c to work properly but a friend told me I should post it with the NHTSA.
