Car stopped while driving. I took the car to the dealership and 8 hours later they said that the car was overfilled causing the filter and canister to be saturated with fuel making the vehicle stop. (although I know I did not overfill my vehicle) there is nothing in the owners manual or warranty warning not to overfill the gas tanks and that it will cause car failure while driving.

The contact owns a 2000 Mitsubishi Galant. The contact stated that the vehicle's dashboard began cracking soon after the warranty expired in 2004. The dashboard has continued to crack. In July of 2005, the fuel filler door detached and the cd player stopped operating. After being informed that her warranty did not cover any of these components, she decided not to take action.
