Last week fri Mar. 16, 2018, I drove my 2005 Mitsubishi gallant ES car into work. On my way, I heard a pop sound from the car. Then a very loud car noise and felt rattling, and the car drive was not a smooth one. I figured it was a flat tire. I was entering the i75 highway. Once on the highway, I pulled across 3 lanes to the right shoulder of the highway. This was 7 am and dark, and also during rush hour traffic so lucky to be able to pull over safely. I drove about a few seconds on the shoulder, stopped the car, and parked there. I could smell burning metal. I then called aaa and the service driver came and changed the flat tire. This was not a simple punctured car tire. The michelin car tire had exploded - the car tire had come off the rim. After this exploding car tire incident, I am emotionally shaken and scared. To think that I could have been killed, and not be here today because of a possible defective tire. Or I could have suffered serious injuries, or caused a major accident on the highway. Note: 1. I purchased the 4 sets of tires from costco on Dec. 20, 2016, and the odometer reading was 125,597 km; and right now, the odometer reading is about 151,350 km, therefore these 4 sets of tires had only been driven 25,753 km or 25,753 km / 1. 60934 km/mile = 16,002 miles over in about 15 months. 2. The vehicle was originally from canada, therefore it reads in km instead of mile. 3. I have taken photos of the exploded tire which completely separated from the rim. I can send those photos to you anytime. 4. I will be going to costco to replace the tire this week, I think costco will want to keep the exploded tire, should I give it to costco?.

April 11, 2014 I was traveling up 85 north to atlanta between 9:30 pm & 10:00pm. Just outside of macon county on mile marker 45 there was a car speeding in the work zone where signs were up saying unleveled road. I exchanged lanes to the right side which was the paved side and came near the bridge and hit a hard bump which made my car hop up and slam down hard. I had to pull over and stop because my tires were smoking. My strut bottomed out and was sitting on my tire making it not drivable because the tires were rubbing against the strut. Two other cars hit the same bump including the state trooper that came to assist me. I called my insurance but the couldn't pinpoint where I was. So I ended up calling the state trooper and had to pay out of the pocket for towing back to montgomery. There were no signs or cones in the road to notify that there was a rough bump in the road. I need help with this cause I spent money on this damage and feel useless because of a bump that disable my only car for work.

I took my car to wal-mart for oil change and tire rotation, they did the oil change and refused to do the tire rotation. They recommended that both front ties be replaced. They made me sign a paper that they informed me of the problem with the tires. The technicians said he won't feel safe driving this car especially with kids on board. I do care of my car and keep up with the tire rotation and general maintenance. I took the to discount tires and they recommended replacing the tires because of cracks in the tires. Michelin is refusing to honor the warranty 6 years / 90,000 miles. There is no way these tires can go 90,000 miles, there are cracks in the tires. A second look at these tires is vital, they have cracks and there is no way the can handle the 90,000 miles. Michelin is playing games and are refusing to honor the warranty.

The contact owns a 2005 Mitsubishi Galant. The vehicle has mastercraft a/s iv steel belted radial tires, size p225/70r15. While driving approximately 60 mph, the contact felt the rear passenger side of the vehicle drop down. He maneuvered onto the side of the road and discovered that the tread had separated from the tire all the way around. The current mileage was 78,000 and failure mileage was 76,000.
I have a 2006 Mitsubishi Galant and have had it in the shop repeatedly for the front suspension, brakes, electrical problems and now I'm having transmission problems and lots of engine noise. My front suspension has a squawking sound everytime you go over a speed bump, the whole front end has been rebuilt but it is still doing the same thing. This started at about 8,800 miles and there is now 23,000 and the dealership is telling me there is nothing wrong
my brakes have been squeaking since about 8,800 miles also and they have replaced my front pads since there was a tech bulletin placed and yet this has still not fixed the squeaking. My engine idle fluctuates while sitting in drive and my engine has a loud start up sound almost like there is an exhaust leak but there is not. My transmission when first shifted into reverse stutters as I pull out of my driveway and when in drive you can feel the transmission stutter as long as the car is cold. My car also pulls to left within 4 seconds after not holding the steering wheel extremely tight and this started after they replaced the rack-in-pinion. I have a metal rattling sound coming from the front driver's side of the vehicle but when it is taken into the dealership they state that they could not produce the concern. Yet they have heard it before and had to replace all the springs and pins in the brakes. My tires have worn down dramatically on the outsides even though the correct amount of tire pressure is in the tires. There has not been a time when I have ever been less than 3 lbs under pressure.

Was diagnosed with defective side and passenger airbags, anti lock braking system. Has serious steering vibration when driving. Dealer told us it was only the tires and they overinflated my tires to solve the problem. Problem has continued and has been occurring since vehicle had 15,000 miles and tires were properly rotated and balanced. Concerned that vehicle poses serious safety hazards.

Along with several recalls, the brakes, rotors, battery, all four tires had to be replaced at my expense. Horn still does not properly work after being replaced. Electrical failures with blinker light (inside and outside) and outside rear driver side light staying on even when car is turned off. Service department says they find nothing wrong. Letters written to Mitsubishi go unresponsive to and/or are referred to my local service department, with no response, only that my claims are denied. Need help. Please check this out. Can't understand how a brand new vehicle can have to have so many parts replaced (at my expense) and so many other defects and no one provide any answers/reasons or responses to complaints. Please help. Thank you in advance for your attention.
Severe steering vibrations at highway speeds 60mph & above. The dealer has, so far, replaced front right transaxle, balanced tires 4-times, and replaced oem goodyear eagle LS tires (205/55/16) with bridgestone potenza tires (205/55/16). However, the front tires repeatedly get out of balance every now and then, and severe steering vibrations continue at 60mph highway speed, which is creating a potential life-threatening safety hazard every time the vehicle is driven over 60-65 mph speeds.
Consumer heard a noise coming from the back tires, took vehicle to a mechanic and he said that the tires needed to be replaced.

I need to replace my tires at 26,000 miles. Mentor Mitsubishi told me they can't do anything about it, I have to call goodyear. When I call goodyear, they know nothing either. I have a rubbing noise coming from my tire area and the two dealers I took it to won't fix the problem.
Vehicle vibrates and pulls to the side consumer states she purchased new tires and firestone told her that tires should not have worn out in such a short time, possibile suspension problems may have contributed to the vibration of vehicle .
