2 Air Bag Light On problem

Takata recall. The contact owns a 2006 Mitsubishi Lancer. The contact received notification of NHTSA campaign number (air bags); however, the parts to do the repair were unavailable. The contact stated that the manufacturer exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repair. The contact called bay cars Mitsubishi at (850) 785-1591 (615 w 15th st, panama city, FL 32401). Tl- the contact owns a 2006 mitshubishi Lancer. The contact stated the air bag light had illuminated and stated illuminated. The vehicle had not been taken to the idpendent mechanic or dealer. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The manufacturer notified the contact that the vehicle's production date,8/1/06, fell into the range of vehicle's being recalled for takata air bags 8/4/03- 8/28/06 however they are not any state above south carolina in accordance to NHTSA. The approximate vehicle failure mileage was 85,000. Kh.

4 Air Bag Light On problem

Failure Date: 09/06/2014

The contact owns a 2006 Mitsubishi Lancer. While driving 30 mph, the air bag warning indicator illuminated. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic, but the technician was unable to diagnose the cause of the failure. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure.
