The smell of gas fumes while driving coming from an 2010 Mitsubishi evolution mr touring. The smells cause is not determined by any non-Mitsubishi mechanic nor a Mitsubishi mechanic. Getting dizzy because of the gas fumes coming from the car is a danger to the drivers, his or her company in the car and any person on the road.
The contact owns a 2010 Mitsubishi Lancer evolution gsr. The contact stated that while driving approximately 5 mph, an extremely strong odor of fuel emitted inside of the vehicle. The vehicle was taken to an authorized dealer on two separate occasions for the same failure; although the first time the technician was unable to duplicate the failure and the second time they smelled an extensive fuel odor. The dealer does not know where the failure originated and did not have a remedy. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 11,500.
