One problem related to seats has been reported for the 1998 Mitsubishi Mirage. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
Was backing up & heard a pop, then driver's seat snapped backwards. Foot went straight out, and vehicle accelerated & hit a parked vehicle. Driver seat can be put back up.
