I was driving down the road and made a left turn to go on the highway. The vehicle started startling and then there was smoke coming from the hood. Being that I was on my way to a family event that was about 5 miles away, I made sure that I was able to make it to the location so that I could at least park my car. As I was driving the smoke continued which caused me to drive my car 20 mph and all the lights on the dash came one. The check engine light as well as the low coolant light remained on up until I was able to park it. As I put the car in reverse to back it in the parking space the car started making some funny noise and it sounded as if the engine was going to fall out. I shut the car off being that the smoke was getting out of control. I let the car sit for a while so that it was able to cool off and when I tried to see if it would start back up, it did not. When my boyfriend was able to look under the hood we found out that there was a leak at the top where the coolant was and the coolant had spewed out all over the hood of the car. I have also had other issues with the car not starting with the push button start and I have to attempt to start the car multiple times in order for it to start.
