The contact owns a 2015 Mitsubishi Mirage equipped with dunlop tires, size: 165/65/r14 (na). While driving approximately 45 mph, the front passenger side tire blew out without warning. The contact lost control of the vehicle, drove off the road, and crashed into a covert pipe. The contact regained control of the vehicle and crashed into another covert pipe. The driver sustained injuries to the abdominal area, which required medical attention. A police report was filed. The vehicle was towed to the dealer where it was diagnosed that the front passenger side tire blew out and needed to be replaced. The tire was replaced and the vehicle was repaired, but the failure recurred. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The tire and vehicle failure mileage was 15,000. The dot number was not available.

While driving at about 65 mph, had a very bad tire blowout. Front driver's side tires, and back driver's side tires blewout, car hit a concrete wall, and driver's side airbag deployed and inflated. However, passenger's side air bag deployed, but did not inflate. Consumer felt someone could have been seriously injured in this type of situation.
