One problem related to loud engine noise has been reported for the 1997 Mitsubishi Montero Sport. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
Everytime consumer starts up vehicle there is a loud noise due to back pressure in engine. Consumer has taken vehicle to dealer several time, but cannot determine cause. Consumer has also had ac repaired on three occassions.
