One problem related to driveshaft has been reported for the 1999 Mitsubishi Montero Sport. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
The vehicle has a drive train/shaft defect which is the causing a terrible vibration. I am being told the vehicle is driveable and pose not safety hazard. The part is on order, until the part comes in , I will need to pick up my vehicle. My concern is this statement true, the vehicle vibrates and it is difficult to constanlty hold the steering wheel in place to reduce some to the vibration. Is this a safety hazard.
