The contact owns a 2000 Mitsubishi Montero Sport. When retrieving his vehicle from a local repair shop; he proceeded to accelerate and the vehicle stalled. The dealer stated that when removing the battery from the vehicle and replacing it the vehicle computer system reset which caused improper idle. He then added that the failure would have to be duplicated within the next two days in order to repair the vehicle.
