Tire Problems of Mitsubishi Montero Sport

The contact owns a 1997 Mitsubishi Montero Sport. While driving between 55 and 65 mph, the front end of the vehicle shook violently. The vehicle was taken to the dealer where it was diagnosed that the ball joints, wheel bearings, transmission mount, universal bolt, and tires needed to be replaced. The vehicle was repaired; however, the failure recurred. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The contact referenced NHTSA campaign number: 00v311001 (engine and engine cooling), but the VIN was excluded. The failure mileage was approximately 114,000.

I purchased a used tire at bj tire shop in bryan, TX on July 16, 2009. The tire purchased (bf goodrich radial long trail t/a 265 70r) turned out to be defective with the tread separating from the rest of the tire, causing my vehicle to flip over causing $9000 in damages to my vehicle. We were very fortunate that no one got hurt or killed. I am afraid that this tire shop maybe selling more of these defective tires and could cause someone to be killed or cause more accidents. How can I make sure that more of these tires are not being sold. Brakes are making noise and are wearing out faster than normal. Consumer states that brake fluid stays at half way mark. Also, the right front tire was wearing out unevenly due to poor alignmen and bad brakes.

The vehicle constanlty pulls to the right while driving, noises can be heard when braking and when accelerating and there is vibration in the steering wheel, all four tires have been repalced but the problems still exist, the dealer has been unable to identify the problem. Nlm.
