I am submitting this complaint regarding peachtree Mitsubishi, located at 4474 buford hwy, atlanta, GA 30341, for their failure to properly address a critical safety recall on my vehicle: Mitsubishi recall sr-20-003rev_1 (NHTSA campaign number 20v-279) — crossmember corrosion, which poses a serious risk of lower control arm detachment, potentially resulting in loss of vehicle control and collision. Timeline of events & misrepresentation: I brought my vehicle to peachtree Mitsubishi specifically to have the recall repair performed. The dealership claimed the recall work was completed and assured me the car was in excellent condition. Shortly afterward, I experienced issues with the vehicle and had it inspected by two independent mechanics. Both confirmed the car was unsafe to drive due to unresolved corrosion-related damage. In a separate legal case against the dealership that sold me the vehicle, the court formally determined the car was unsafe to drive. I contacted peachtree Mitsubishi again and requested they pick up the vehicle to reassess the recall repair. They refused, instructing me to take it to another Mitsubishi service center — despite there being none conveniently located near me. Ongoing delay & lack of resolution: I have spent over eight months attempting to resolve this issue. Despite multiple attempts, I have received no meaningful resolution, acknowledgment of fault, or corrective action. Summary of complaint: the dealership misrepresented the completion of a federally mandated safety recall. The vehicle remains unsafe, as confirmed by independent mechanics and a court ruling. The dealership has refused to re-inspect at there cost or take responsibility. I am seeking a formal investigation and consumer protection intervention. The dealership misrepresented the completion of a safety-critical repair and failed to provide adequate service or resolution.
Was driving the car and it totally lost power to everything. Had to pull over immediately with whatever power I had left to have the car roll to a stop. Multiple lights came on the dash. Notification came on the screen saying car can not communicate, engine is over heating. Tried to turn off car and back on and it would do nothing at all. Car has been at mechanic for 3 weeks they believe it is the ecu/psu but when replacing car continue to act up and not start.
2011 Mitsubishi Outlander sport se I bought the car on March 7, 2022 from cherry hill auto with the owner by name steven. The car was bought under my cousin denise based at that moment I didn't had a temporary permit. The car was parked technically all the time. It was driven just one mile. Oil change was thick and black, electrical issues, car asking for maintenance, then it shows new issues and didn't turn on. I call steven and explain him the issues and he referred me to a shop he said he has more confidence than the Mitsubishi company in cherry hill. The shop is universal auto repair on cherry hill as well. Car it's been almost a month, catalytic converter and oxygen sensor was stolen. The shop told me to call geico and claim the parts which I know isn't right. I pay almost 12k between car, taxes, all charges and a 36 months penn warranty gold plan with a check. Car has a lot of issues. My cousin open a case with geico and I have to pay $250 deductible for something that occur under their responsibility and in their shop. Is very strange steven said he don't trust in Mitsubishi service when car start having problems and referred me to this mechanic and parts was stolen there. My car still in the shop for almost 2 months. I couldn't even do the inspection because have a lot of issues and car don't qualified base on that. I just want my money back. I bought a car about 5 months ago and I never driven it. If I can have any assistance in spanish I'll appreciate it. Thanks.
Since I bought my car in 2021 the air bag system sensor goes off as well as the seatbelt light even if my seatbelt is on.

Hello, my blower stopper working in my car and I found this recall online and I was wondering if my car was part of this recall: recall number 15v233000 recall date 04/20/2015 component visibility:defroster/defogger system:windshield:blower summary Mitsubishi motors north America, inc. (Mitsubishi) is recalling certain model year 2009-2011 lancer vehicles manufactured March 16, 2009, to March 30, 2011, 2010-2011 lancer sportback vehicles manufactured June 17, 2009, to December 1, 2010, 2010-2011 lancer evolution vehicles manufactured July 14, 2009, to January 7, 2011, 2009-2011 Outlander vehicles manufactured February 10, 2009, to June 22, 2011, and 2011 Outlander sport vehicles manufactured August 26, 2010, to November 19, 2010. What owners should do Mitsubishi will notify owners, and dealers will replace a suspect blower motor, free of charge. The recall began on June 15, 2015. Owners may contact Mitsubishi customer service at 1-888-648-7820. Mitsubishi's number for this recall is sr-15-003.
The exterior rubber window moldings are corroded and melted which allows for the water to get into the door damaging the electrical wiring for the windows automatic operation. My vehicle isn't the only vehicle with this problem as I have seen that most of these cars have the same problem. I have tried to contact Mitsubishi to tell them about this problem but in puerto rico they told me this problem was because I wasn't using wax on them, I have seen much older cars, and this problem does not exist. It exists because of the poor quality of exterior window sill molding they chose to include in this car because, once again, it's not just mines, it's most of them.
When driving back in November 2016 I was driving down the road in a rain storm and the windshield wipers stopped working. After doing some research I found there was a recall on the wipers. So I called the company and they informed me that recall did not cover my vehicle. So about 3-4 weeks go by and I get my mail and what do I get but a recall for the wipers on my vehicle. On this notice it says the parts for this remidy are not currently available, mmma is making every effort to to obtain these parts as quickly as possible and will contact you again by mail with a follow up recall notice when the remidy parts are available. In the mean time I am making a 431 dollar payment and can't drive my car in the rain or snow. Oh yeah have I mentioned that it is now July 8 months later and still making that 431 dollar payment and have to pick and choose when I can drive. I will never by a Mitsubishi again. I call the 800 number and always on hold.
Etac.
I have been waiting for 1. 5 months and counting for a local Mitsubishi dealer to replace my drive belt per instructions in the "important safety recall" notice. I have called every local dealer with the promise of returning my call when they receive the parts. I would like to know what vehicle manufacturers and the NHTSA consider to be "prompt" considering these are safety risks that put myself, my family, and others at risk on a daily basis until the part is repaired. Is it 45 days? 180 days? this is ridiculous that I have to sit and wait, driving my potentially dangerous car every day, when there is a known issue and a known solution. When issuing a recall, I would expect that the manufacturer and NHTSA would be adequately prepared to address the safety issue timely rather than allowing this issue to create extra risk. Please advise on how to proceed and provide more realistic expectations rather than broad terminology like "prompt".
