I have 2015 Outlander sport has 100k miles on it and I had the transmission replaced at 62000 miles at the dealership but now I have a hesitation engine when go over 70k per hour on the highway and airbag service sign on for no reason and the fog light with the led light off with no reason too.
The contact owns a 2015 Mitsubishi Outlander sport. The contact stated that the air bag warning light was illuminated. The vehicle was taken to a local dealer but was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was informed of the failure and informed the contact that they were unable to assist. The failure mileage was approximately 5,000.
On June 11, 2020 I was hit head on in an accident in syracuse NY. My airbags never went off.
While driving alone, the �airbag system repair required� message and light appears on my dashboard. This occurred on a highway going 60 mph. The icon shown was for the passenger seat, however the seat was empty.
Driver proceeded to stop the vehicle in traffic and the brakes failed and did not engage. The vehicle did not come to a stop and hit the car in front of it. According to an of-duty police officer directly behind my vehicle, the brake lights were lit up as if the brakes were functioning but no slowing of the vehicle occurred.
