The contact stated while driving at various speeds and making a right or left turn, there was an abnormal sound coming from the driver's side front wheel. The vehicle was taken to the local dealer, where it was diagnosed that the front driver's side strut bearing was faulty and needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. Additionally, the contact stated that there was an abnormal gasoline odor coming through the a/c vents while driving and while the vehicle was parked. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 7,000.
