general problems of the 2023 Mitsubishi Outlander

I am unsure of the proper name of the component with issues. There are several little issues but the main is, I believe it would be a software issue. . . Basically, on several different occasions (4) while driving at 60 mph and over, the vehicle suddenly stalled and shut off completely with no warning. The one incident which was the very first while I was driving less than 1 month ago. I was on a two lane road/freeway with another passenger in the back seat going somewhere between 60 and 65 mph. The car went completely black and everything shut down the entire vehicle, engine and all. I was in complete shock and end up scraping my front left rim on the curb I was next to, damaging the vehicle as a result. I am just recently out of my warranty and I do not have the funds to have it looked at just yet. I did inform the dealership that I purchased the vehicle from. I originally thought it was something maybe I had done to cause it. I also was completely unaware of any recalls on several of the year and model of my vehicle. When I looked up recalls on them, my vehicle has very similar issues to a lot of other cars like it that have already been recalled. I am upset because if I had known there were potential safety issues with these particular make and model car I would have not wanted to finance it, especially at the price point I have. It seems that several thousand were recalled a few months before I financed mine. Why wouldn’t I be notified that there could be potential safety issues when I was looking at the vehicle for purchase? now here we are and I don’t think it is a safe vehicle. I need to do something. . I am not sure I want to keep it honestly ! what can I do? please let me know at your earliest convenience. Check engine light is on. My car is still under 5 year bumper to bumper warranty. My local Mitsubishi dealership closed and the nearest one is hours away. I also have a recall. I have called Mitsubishi customer service several times only to be put on hold without the ability to talk to someone to get these problems solved.

I took this car 2 times to the dealership about the same issue the steering wheel it has a lose parts inside keep giving a weird noise and the second issue the gas smell inside the cabin if you stop the vehicle on hot day and the ac running they are a very bad gas smell coming inside the cabin throw the ac vents I looked on this issue online alot of people have this issue dealership said can't smell nothing they don't want to put the work in to this issue I need help please even last night we smelled it its very bad alot they said on line other people that the gas tank vents on hot day the vent out the gas and its get in to the ac thats why we smell it but when you are driving you dont smell nothing but if you stop and keep the car running come back it will be inside the cabin full of gas smell coming from the vents I have a disabled son I can't keep going throw this issue and some people said that Mitsubishi know about it and they are working on it to fix I can't breath no more gas.

The key fobs aren't working ,vehicles are locking children inside and users are having to use manual key inside key fob to open. . Alot of people are not aware of key. . This is a huge saftey issue with summer coming. . We were in school drop off with 2 special ed kiddos and the car locked and would not unlock and when you go to the forum many many parents having kids locked inside cars. . . This started happening after the last computer update on my vehicle. . Dealer is attempting to fix Friday but definitely a issue on a vehicle only 8 months old.
