As a result, the contact¿s vehicle crashed into a ditch and the air bags failed to deploy. The contact sustained a busted lip and fractured teeth that required medical attention. A police report was filed. The vehicle was destroyed. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The failure mileage was 98,000.

2 Air Bag Not Deploy problem

Failure Date: 08/01/2009

The contact owns a 2007 Mitsubishi Raider. While driving 35 mph in heavy rain conditions, the vehicle began skidding off the road. The contact attempted to steer the vehicle to stay on the road and also engaged the brakes, but nothing worked. The front end of the vehicle crashed into a tree and the vehicle came to a stop. The air bags failed to deploy, but there were no injuries. The contact believes that there is a safety defect with the vehicle. The vehicle was towed and is currently at a repair shop.
