While driving my 2006 Mitsubishi Raider, I was leaving a customer’s home with a load on my truck. The first issue I encountered was that the truck struggled to exit the driveway. Then, I realized I couldn't shift into reverse. Shortly after, it seemed like the gas line or speed mechanism malfunctioned. Suddenly, the truck accelerated uncontrollably, going full speed straight into a house. Luckily I braked in time no accident no report just towed truck tó customers house with aaa after the incident.

3 transmissions already and it's already shifting hard.
1. The car stop engine suddenly on the freeway 5 south near culver exit. 2. It stopped garden grove blvd and eculid st in garden grove city CA about few month later when I tried to make left turn, the engine stopped. 3. It stop again on 22 fwy . 4. One more stopped near 55 fwy and dyer Ave, engine totally stopped, but I could start and drive after these incidents. The other problem is the ignition blocked turn the engine start. The key doesn't move so frequently. My car mileage is just over 50,000 miles. What is the problem? I purchased this used car from union auto in garden grove the mileage was about 16,000 mile.
While driving 2007 Mitsubishi Raider on June 3rd, 2010 the vehicle lost all power while driving, resulting in no control of vehicle. The vehicle was serviced on June 1st 2010 and the battery was checked good. When taken to Mitsubishi dealer they said the only thing they could find was a dead battery. $5000 worth of damage was done to vehicle as it hit the center median wall, luckily no one was hurt though. There was no warning before hand that anything was about to happen. We were driving and then the truck just died, the engine quit, lights went out everything went black. We started drifting into the lane next to us almost coming in contact with another vehicle. The steering wheel was turned hard to the left to avoid hitting other vehicles when we went left hard and hit the median. I had my wife and 3 kids in the car and to this day we wonder if the same thing will happen again. I don`t want another family to go through what we went through in fear of someone getting seriously hurt or killed. If the median wall was not there and it was just grass, there would have been a very good chance that the truck would have flipped. As stated earlier the battery was just checked 3 days prior and should not have been bad, even though the vehicle should not have died while driving as a result of a dead battery. The recent Toyota recall is for the same problem that I have encountered. I know they are different companies and manufacturer's but could there be a coincidence between the two. It is an experience to lose all power of a vehicle and hoping to avoid hurting anyone. Thank-you.
